Ink colors of a love letter (poem)

His love was contagious,

Smiles melted my heart,
Touches melted my body,
… Red inked heart…

Our love were held by both,
Smiles returned by more smiles,
Touches unified our movement,
… Purple inked heart…

Love continued after the accident,
I was broken you smiled for us both,
Touches continued our movements with your help,
… Pink inked heart…

Love grew as we found each other again,
We smiled and laughed in unisons,
Touches are craved and welcomed,
… Crimson inked heart…

Love took one less beat,
Smile of yours found new target,
Touches are painful from the hand’s back,
… Turquoise inked heart…

Love is redefined,
Smiles are smirks and condescending,
Touches leave bruises and bloody trails,
… Blue inked heart…

Love is only a word said but not meant,
Smiles are vicious and taunting,
Touches are violent that could kill,
… Gray inked heart…

I love you, if you dare to leave you will pay!
Smile, apologize to me for have caused me to be angry and hurt you,
Touch you I will, leave you with a bruise is the least of your worries,
… Black inked heart…

CRACK!!!
… Broken heart…
STOP!!!
… Took more courage to say
SLAM!!!
… Please leave
HOLD!!!
… what’s left of my heart…
